My first clutch (and only clutch) of eggs hatched last night. The first one to hatch was "little Runtie". The second one to hatch was "Blue". Out of nine eggs, seven were fertile and hatched. Five of them are lively little buggers. Little Runtie and Blue are the ones I am worried about. Runtie seems to be coming around and he gets very active after i have given him water from a dropper. Blue, on the other hand, has a crook where his back legs are and a kink at the base of his tail. The poor little fella is a fighter. I hope he is healthy enough to make it. If he does, we will keep him as our own. I hope you enjoy my pictures. I am so proud of all my little troopers! I was also wondering if any one knows what kind of paint people use to mark them for identification.
All the babies!!!
Here is Blue when he first came out of the incubator. At first he was having difficulty walking but now he is getting around a lot better.
More Babies!!!
