Cut fingernail too far and it’s bleeding!

Ash is only 3-4 months old and I have cut her nails once before with no problem. Today, I decided to trim them again, and I cut a little too deep and now her nail is bleeding. I am so worrried it is going to get infected or something. WHAT SHOULD I DO? PLEASE HELP!!!

Update: the bleeding stopped and now it is dried blood. I replaced all of the paper towels with clean ones and I put a paper towel on her basking spot so that it isn’t rough and doesn’t hurt her finger.

Can you post a few pics of it ? It should be fine, I've raised many dragons over the years , some tore their own nails out while digging or snagging them on something and not one ever became infected. No need to worry, but if you want , just put some neosporin on it.

I’ll try to get some pics up soon. That’s really reassuring to hear. I forgot to mention that I put neosporin on her nail a few minutes after it happened. I have replaced all of her paper towels so that no dirt gets into it and taped paper towles over her basking spot so that it doesn’t scrape off the scab. I plan on taking the paper towels off of her basking spot tomorrow. I wasn’t being as careful as I should have and I cut about 1/4 of the way up her nail. I haven’t seen any blood since I put her back in her viv. I think I just got really paranoid that it would get infected and overdid it a little. In fact, looking back on the past month or so that I have had Ash, I am 99% sure that I am the most paranoid beardie owner that has ever existed. :lol: But hey, I guess that it’s better than under caring for your beardie!
