Crickets are dying

Sammy is currently eating crickets and reptiworms. He seems to like crickets more than the worms. My problem is that the crickets are dying. I feed them Flucker's cricket quencher from petsmart. They are kept in a plastic carrier with long black tubes that they crawl into. Some of them just lay on the bottom of the carrier unable to walk. What's happening?

Could be a bad batch of crickets. Temperatures are an issue - like don't keep them in the garage when it's 40 out. But general cricket care...

Mine get dry cricket food and paprika sprinkled on their egg crate, and long thin slices of sweet potato for moisture. I clean the bin daily. They are well fed, hydrated, and no bacteria in the bin. Though even with all that, we still had 30 or so dead this morning.

Good luck.

Slow lethargic crickets are usually from low temps. Their back legs will become stuff and immobile if too cold as well. Check out the cricket care guide in a thread below.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
