At my local pet shop they feed their crickets fish flake food to help gut load( along with the usual veggies). I have extra flake food around that ive been using aswell and the crickets always eat all of it, is this a safe way to gut load? The pet shop has been keeping and breeding beardies for years but i figure it would be better to check here. Thanks.

Your basically gutloading with fats and protein. No harm unless its all you ever gutload with. Try fruit, veggies (like stems from leafy-greens). Giving the crickets water is more important than a gut load.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
