Good evening all,
I was thinking of starting my own cricket colony in order to save money/breed for friends. The guy at my local reptile store told me it would be too stinky to effectively manage indoors (I'm in AZ, so it's too hot even in the garage). At any rate, is this accurate? Can't tell if he's trying to guarantee business or not. Please help me out! Thanks!

stinky? Well raising crickets is "stinky" so maybe he was referring to that. I breed my own crix for a while, no out of the ordinary "stinky"

Crickets smell bad, whether you're breeding them or not. They're messy and they eat their own babies, apparently.

crickets are stinky, but I wouldn't say too stinky. They're gonna breed if you want them to or not. It's just a matter of giving them a place to do it and incubating the eggs. I personally didn't have any luck, but if you want to go for it, why not?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
