crestie substrates+feeding

what crestie substrates are good? i heard that coco fiber is good and holds moist but then I hear when their huntin crixs they accitdnely eat some coco fiber. I really don't know what to pick as a substrate.

and um when it comes to feeding fruit/baby food, can you just feed crested gecko diet? I read that baby food has losts of extra fat and suger and mashing fruit can be a hassle. if you could awnser these questions that would be a lot of help.

I just use paper towels for my crested and hes fine with it even then he gets some paper towel while hunting and I have to make him spit it out lol and yes the crested gecko diet is the best to yous thats what I feed mine you can even just feed crested gecko diet without any insects and be fine hope that helps
