ok- so my best friend that I havent seen in a year asks me to hang out at our favorite coffee shop.
When I get there, she has a box and in it is a two year old bearded dragon with a stubby tale and missing two toes.
Apparently, her ex visited ( from out of state ) and said that this bearded dragon didnt get along with the other one he had, so he just gave it to her. More like forced it on her! And then, she forced her on me! She said I had bearded dragons and could take care of her, and she didnt want her. The whole event was rude. I couldnt say no, heavens no, I felt so bad for the poor thing.
But I got a free beardie out of it! And because I have two adults I had to give Kohl away, because I didnt want to handle the stress of three beardies and worry about Kohl growing up so far behind the other two. I gave him and a tank and lights to a mom and her kid as his first pet on craigslist. I met them and met the kid, who is really young. The mom said she had reptiles in the past and missed them, so I was very happy that Kohl found a mama that can take care of her.
The new girls named Juliet. She had some russian male name before, because her ex's other dragon was named Karl Marx. He also thought she was a boy, but she clearly isnt if you look. She's a doll and very docile probably because she's used to getting beat up. She loves attention and would rather be on my shoulder or lap than in the tank.
At first Hiccup attacked her, but she smacked him hard and she stopped. I've been watching them closely and no more fighting, only waving. A lot of waving. I think Juliet scared Hiccup straight. Hiccups always been a little rude, she's been much more docile since Juliet came in the picture.
The bad part is the huge tank I had to buy. I had to get my mom to buy it for me, and am working it off.
