Crazy Dubia deal

so I put an ad on craigslist that I was looking for dubia, and had a guy respond and tell me for $20 shipped he would send over 200 mix with adults shipped overnight. I opened the package and emptied it to find this!! theres a crap load haha a lot of the males wings are chewed up, but I started a whole new colony with them, and got them some chow and water crystals.

Sweet...I never thought of putting an add on CL. I've been looking for someone in upstate NY who has them, it's been way too cold to ship here. Will be placing my own add shortly :wink:

he sent them usps overnight and it said on the box it cost $17.29 to ship them. he had a colony and has 8 tarantulas and had way too many dubia, so he gave me most of his colony for $20.

yep, when they are lacking protein they will begin to chew on the males wings. they deffinatley weren't well taken care of, some of them actually looked thin!! haha, but they are all doing fine now, and slamming the roach chow and veggies.
