Couple Q's to help with designing false rock enclosure

I need to know a few things to help with the design of my false rock enclosure I'm planning on building as I bought the supplies yesterday.

- How "thick" do full grown beardies get? As I want to know how far to design the basking platform from the lights as I read that you shouldn't let beardies get closer than 6" to the UVB lights so I need to design the platform with the thickness of a full grown beardie in mind.
- How long do beardies get again? I want to know this for designing a "hide".
