coughing after bath?

i just gave my one year old male a bath he seemed extremely excited, swimming around the sink and drinking idk if he got to much water or just overly excited. but his beard came out with a faintish cough after he got out.. please help.. im very nervous

Hello,

This is a pretty common occurrence after a bath inhaling water. Coughing is his way of trying to clear out fluids.
Did you hold him at a slight angle downwards to try & let any excess fluids drain out?
Overnight, it would be a good idea to keep him warm in his tank, around 80, to help ward off any respiratory issues that might happen from aspirating some water.
He should be ok, but let us know how he is doing.

I did not but after like 5 times of him doing it he was fine. And i put him in his tank and he was pretty hyper

Of course. He's a fatty
