I've done the numbers and i can better afford an adult beardie's food requirements than a baby's so i'm soon to be looking for an adult beardie. I don't care if its unique, cool colors, or skin variations i just want a beardie, how much should a adult normal (male or female doesn't matter to me either) cost?

It would be about 1-2 weeks before i can buy/adopt a dragon i'm currently saving up for the start up cost and getting my dad warmed up to the idea of another reptile (i have a crested gecko) but as long as its at least 15inches and healthy i've no problem of its origins as i'm happy to give a home to any fitting those two requirements, i live in Acworth, Ga zip code: 30101

Cost can be as little as $50 right up to over $100. Your best bet is to search different adds (you can check out the ones here as well) and look for an adult with set up. I paid $100 for my adopted adult plus tank and lights, but then had to replace everything as most of it was wrong! LOL!

Ok thanks, if any of y'all have any idea where or who could sell me an adult please feel free to post it, i appreciate any help i can get. I was looking at craigslist for my area and am requesting specific pictures to get an idea of their health and people are asking roughly 60 or so for just a beardie

Also check your local shelters. Ive gotten a beardie, mexican black kingsnake and red tail through my local shelter (for no cost I might add). Alot of local shelters want exotics out of their care fast because most of the time they arent equipped to care for them.

It feels good to adopt also. My beardie and red tail were skinny when they were taken to the shelter and it was nice to see them fatten up once I got them home.

You should be able to get a regular adult male for very cheap. I sold a red one for $70, and gave a grey one away for free. I think males have more personality, and you dont have to worry about infertile eggs that oddly seem much harder for them to lay than fertile ones. They'll also be cheaper than a female. It really depends on how much of a hurry you are to find one.

Call and check your local pet stores too. I don't know about other stores but at Petco we will take in any unwanted animals and adopt them out, usually with cage/tank and all the accessories. We get beardies dropped off pretty often.

Well, if you didn't see there's a whole section for free beardies (but they are mostly... Beaten up I'd say?) or you could go to the section of The forums "for sale" where you are sure to find a ton of beardies. Hope you get a new
friend!!

I got Rosie from craigs list. The only issue he had was he had been under the same reptisun for two years. He is just a bit stunted length wise.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
