Cost of feeding....

woot!!! Talked to the husband about how much it would cost in crickets or worms per month and that I wanted to start a colony of Dubia Roaches. Showed him pics of the thread someone started on breeding bins..that gave him the heebeejeebee's BIG time!

BUT...he said go for it! Just as long as he doesn't know where they are or have to feed/water them or anything! And that he would NOT be feeding them to the beardie when we get it. He would handle the feeding of the veggies and I could handle the protein. LOL

It was a much easier sell than I thought it would be! SO....where do I buy a starter pair of Dubias so I can get this bug party hoppin!!?? :headbang:

you can go to www.theroachranch.com they have a great video on making your bin to keep them in and they have them you can order. Also you can order some from the forsale forum here usually there are some on there.
congrats. That video makes it super easy and the way he does it is really cheap to make. We made 2 for under $10.

we got two bins. one we set up for feeding and one we set up for breeders. I hope hope hope it works out. we let Gobi try one tonite and she LOVED it. she went nuts wanting more so that is good sign. Now if the other 3 do the same thing in the morning we will be good to go.
