Correct light bulbs?

So I'm just about done with my crossfire viv. I bought a dual Outdoor flood light fixture at home depot, along with 2 extension cords to splice for the wiring, but what bulbs should/can I use to give off enough heat in this fixture?

(I also have a t8 fixture with the reptisun 10.0 and an additional extension cord so the UVB light is good to go)

Hello,

You can use a bright white halogen flood or spot light for his basking. They put off great heat & are nice & bright too. It works very well with the fluorescent tube bulb.

Hi Tracie,

Just wondering... I had gone out a few mos. back and purchased on of the white flood halogen bulbs. The things is HUGE and Heavy? I was afraid to use it? would it be ok?
