Hi All, my basking spot is at 41C, however my cooling spot is at 35C which is far to hot for my beardy, how can I make the cooling side cooler. My basking light is on the other side and the only other lights I have are the 2 UVB lights, I don't know how thermostats work I don't have one, but how would it control the temp at the cooler side and leave the basking side as normal?

please help I just want my beardy to have the perfect temps.

Well based on the info given i suppose you could try a lower wattage basking bulb and move it a little closer to the basking spot.

However, if youd provide a little more details about your set up and maybe post a picture or two more suggestions might be available.

You can also try raising the basking light using a reptile light stand or something similar.
