Cool side temp too low

I have a 100w bulb for my basking light and it's staying around 105 degrees but the cool side is only around 70. It is cool in my house only about 65. The morning temps in the cage before lights go on has been 65-68. Any suggestions for making it warmer? I'm using a temp gun for measurements.

Try adding a second basking light dome with a lower wattage than the original light. Put it over towards the cool side to add heat there.

You might have to adjust the wattage, or add a dimmer, to the main basking light if the temperature of the enclosure is too hot with both of them.

If raising the room thermostat is out of the question to increase night time temps then you could consider an external heat source like a ceramic heat bulb or heat pad. If going this route use caution and research the correct setup to avoid excessively high temps or burns.

I have a lot of rocks in my enclosure under the basking/heat lights and a cave hide etc. The rocks do absorb heat and then give it off at night. But I don't think that's enough for relatively cool ambient room temperatures like yours.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
