Cook your veggies first?

Hi, I have been giving Primo, my dragon, lettuce, carrots, broccoli and red-bell peppers, should I be cooking anything? The things I am worried about are the Carrots and Broccoli, because they are both harder vegetables.

Also, with things like beans and other hard veggies/fruits, should I be cooking them?

I don't cook mine. I either shred them or cut into small pieces.
broccoli and carrots should only be fed occasionally. Regular lettuce doesn't have any nutritional value. Use dark leafy greens such as collard, mustard or turnip greens.
