Constipated?

Hello guys/gals new here my baby bearded dragon hasn’t pooped in a few days - mostly feeding meal worms I don’t have any sand is this ok? She appears to be shedding some big chunks off. Slight loss of appetite but eating a little

(I have been using carpet (1 week) and now slate for the last 2 days

Hi. Meal worms cause impacton. I would switch to crickets, Phoenix worms, Silk worms or Dubai roaches.

Whenever my beardie has trouble having a bowel movement I give him a bath and it works every single time. The warm water really helps and it can stop severe impaction before it starts. I don’t recommend haveing mealworms as the main staple in her diet. She’s a cutie though!
