There's only one explanation...
When i'm at work my cat sleeps beside Malys' tank all day, I'm sure. I've seen her spend hours there and most of the time they just stare at each other. As of tonight, I'm beginning to think that they're sending telepathic messages to each other. The only other explanation i can think of is that Malys was a cat in a former life.
I posted a while back about him chasing my cat's feather toy, complete with tongue hangin' out in the chase.
I just had him out of his tank for a bit, turned my back on him for about 10 seconds to let the cat in and then can't find him. The only place he could've been is under a reclining sofa, so went and got a little flashlight. Through all the workings of the recliner i finally spotted him resting peacefully. Carefully raised the recliner and tried to talk him out 'cause my hand wouldn't fit right around the reclining pieces to pick him up. Picked up the flashlight to move it (it was still on) and he came running out! At first, i thought he was coming to my voice and quickly realized he wanted the white spot on the floor, from the flashlight! Flicked the light around on the floor to be sure and he started chasing it...again with his tongue out ready to eat it!
This is going to be fun! He can't hurt himself on it or actually bite into it, like the feather toy, so i think i'll use it to make sure he's getting his exercise
Ok, i know you're all gonna try it Let me know, i'm interested....do your beardies chase a beam of light on the floor?
