confused

Hello again everyone! sorry for bothering you all again but i noticed something with Tatsu that seems peculiar. So all of his nails are clear which with some research is indicative that he is a Hypo. Which means he is supposed to be lacking melanin (dark pigment), But the thing is Tatsu is not very bright and even at some points even looks like a chocolate color. How is it possible that he has clear nails And dark pigmentation? Am i incorrect do i not have a correct understanding?

Hi there, he is a cutie. Can you get closer pics of his nails ? They don't look clear in those pics....what you would see is that they would be completely clear, with no little grey/black line at all. It looks like a little line in his nails.
