confused about enclosures for my bearded dragon

I'm getting a bearded dragon on Tuesday and I've ordered a wooden cage but I've been told off a friend that I shouldn't get a wooden one with a glass front as the cage will get moist swell and will smell of urine and that I should get a glass cage is this correct ? or am I fine getting a wooden one I need to know as it is getting delivered on Tuesday and I don't want to waste money on something that I am going to have to replace in the near future..

As long as you don't mist your baby in his/her enclosure and keep it clean, I don't see why having a wooden enclosure would be any different than a melamine or glass one, given that it as adequate side vents.

If you are worried about it you can put newspaper down and put tile over them to keep the tank cleaner.

I've always used wooden cages. I've never had a bad problem.I have mine tiled though, they poop on the tile, although they have pooped on the wood before but it's barely ever happened. I mist them every day on the wood in the basking spot, heat lamp dries it right up.
