like as a substrate? say i go out and buy a few bags of quik crete and play sand to make a walk way and i have some left over, can i put a quarter inch to half inch as the bottom of my tank? theres no chemicals in it, just minerals, and there are sealers i could use i guess. but i imagine i could make a wood framed house sort of thing and cover the ramp in it too.

Can u explain it more?like u mean covering the bottom in concrete and doing what with sand?sand is bad you know! also, why not use the bottom of the cage for substrate otherwise?a substrate is generally something you can remove and clean, concrete seems like a not so good idea, but thats just my opinion! :)

no, you mix sand with concrete to make it look better and less like 50 grit sand paper and more like 200 grit. would be easy to clean and im sure i could lift it easily enough

Im not sure, the concrete would be very lumpy and wouldn't be completely straight so it might be difficult to clean

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
