I thought Obie was simply brumating because she was sleeping a whole lot and not eating very much. Well in the last 5 days or so she has been more active at times and basking a lot. She has however continued to snub food. I also noticed that a few of her nails have grown more brittle over the last couple months. One of her toenails has been thicker and clearer for a long time because she broke it off about a year or so ago.
I rearranged her cage (again  ) to make sure she was able to get 9-10 inches away from the center of her Reptisun 10 and checked the basking temps (one spot 97.5 the other 102-105). She basked a lot the last couple of days and after I rearranged the cage an hour ago she immediately went to the basking spot.
It got cold for a few days here and then we got the place warmed up but two of our apartments wall heating units still aren't functional although temps are safely warm now. I know that they sleep more if they are cool, but her tank was plenty warm during the day. Is it possible she got sick because of a few cold nights? I use Dragon Dust ICB for her supplement but haven't been too thrilled with it so I am getting two new tubs one of Repcal Calcium with D3 and one Repcal Vitamin tub from lllreptile soon (she still has some dragon dust left and isn't eating). Could vitamin or calcium deficiency be the problem? I didn't suspect this until I thought about the toenails.
