I have two 4-5 month old female beardies and one has stopped eating. I gave her some wax worms and she ate those. But she refuses anything eles and wont eat anymore wax worms. The other female is just a blackhole. An endless blackhole... Lol the one that is not eating she is smaller as well and not growing as fast in comparison. I keep them both in a 40 breeder (pics below) with 18" reptisun mounted in the tank and a 100watt CHE with a regular 40 watt house bulb for a basking light as well as an UTH on the basking side to keep temps up. The temp under the CHE is 97.6° at a constant and the basking surface temp is 100.

This is an older pic not including the mounted UVB inside.

It sounds like they may be competing for resources such as basking space and one is dominating the other and causing stress. How long has she been refusing food? I'd try some different options and see if she'll take them. Try Phoenix Worms or silk worms perhaps and see if that helps. I'd also try separating them and see if the smaller one starts eating more and gaining size. If she's stressed out by the other dragon then separation may fix the problem.

Some pairs of female beardies get on OK and can cohabit without any real obvious issues (dominance, fighting) but from what I've heard these are very rare and they require a huge enclosure with multiple hides, basking spots so they can both stay away from each other. Beardies are not naturally sociable animals with the exception of their smaller cousins Rankins Dragons (Black Soil / Pygmi Beardies who seem to be more communal).

Nothing for it , you need to separate them ASAP , and provide each with her own personal tank. The dominated beardie will then start to eat and be a LOT happier and no longer permanently stressed. Both will then thrive.

I turns out she was just constipated. Lol i gave her a bath and she finally went and since then she has been her usual self. I did buy another tank so i can seperate them though. I always knew i would have to eventually.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
