Concerned for the health of my beardies

I have two bearded dragons, seeing as this is my first time caring for a reptile of anykind I was wondering about a risk to their health

I recently got very ill with strep throat and I am concerned on if I could possibly get my babies ill or if its okay to handle their food, water, and them like I usually do . I just want to make sure I keep them as healthy and safe as possible even if that means from me. Any help will be appreciated

Hi there.....no, the dragons are safe, they can not catch our illnesses. I believe birds can catch some of our respiratory ailments, but not reptiles.

Good! I am there primary caregiver and I just wanted to make sure because I've been sneezing and coughing alot and I don't want them to get sick. Its really hard being a first time beardie mom lol
