Concerned about Tail Shed!

Ok so Rylee's tail changed colour over a week ago and has a distinct line between his body and tail, this usually means he will shed however it does not usually last this long. I couldn't even tell you how long it has been since it changed. His face is starting to shed now so Hopefully his tail will start tomorow as it usually goes first, but if it doesn't what can i do to help? I'm scared something can go wrong if it doesn't shed soon!

Just keep giving bathes. Your pooper will get it off when its time. :wink:

I figured as much but just as a precaution what else can I do? also he's started blackbearding ALOT especially when I take him out of his tank, however I just moved him into his new 48" x 18" x 21" tank two days ago, and hes stuck on ground level with my cats but was fine the first few days, so I dont know if its stress from moving, the cats, or his stubborn tail (he was a bit moody before i changed his tank too) or is blackbearding for no particular reason something that happens with age?

Yup sounds like stress. I would give it a few days and it should pass. They also get gretzy when they start to go into a shed. As for the shed you can add some 100% aloe after a bath or 100% coco butter. But I would use that as a last option or for a retained shed. Hope that helped.
