Concerned About Brumation

So, I'm a soon to be owner of a beardie, I will be getting one this Saturday after months of research.
Even though I have done my best to research these dragons and what I can do for these cute little babes, my biggest concern is the brumation cycle!
It scares me a tad, seeing as though I really want to be able to help my dragon pull through brumation comfortably and securely, I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for it?
Thank you!

I have not yet had to experience it myself so someone else may be much more helpful in this area. I do know that it is not a one size fits all for beardies, each dragon can display different "symptoms." Basically it's like hibernation for reptiles and is somewhat still mysterious. A healthy dragon will slow down with nearly everything (activity wise) and eat much less, some barely eat at all. They also sleep a lot during the months when they are in brumation which is of course a big part of the process. They may prefer dark cooler areas such as their hide outs during the time. I've herd of some that never willingly come out where as others will to eat a little. You do want to continue offering food just understand they may not eat every time you do offer it. As far as getting them out some during the day to atleast bask I'm unsure. Someone with experience will be able to offer you more details on how you will actually handle a dragon during this time. I would like to add that a healthy dragon will not lose a noticeable amount of weight during this time. Even though they eat very little they still maintain a healthy appearance/weight. Hope this helps a little sorry I can't offer the most insight into this topic.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
