I have read where several people use command hooks for their beardies lights. I need to lower Spike's UVB light. I want to use the command hooks but my husband is worried they will fall and hurt Spike. Has anyone ever had problems with them falling?

Thanks for your input.

I use wire twist ties, just to ensure that it doesn't fall.

You can buy it in spools, so you can make whatever length you want.

I use command Velcro to hold my UVB fixture. Depending on which size strip you buy, they can hold up to a few pounds each. You could use the entire pack on one light, if you wanted to.

I tok an old wire coat hang... cut it in half and made some hooks to hang my light from. Works great.... and i can adjust it to whatever height i want.

Thanks XiDis. I kinda thought about that but didn't know how well that would work. Sounds like that would work just fine :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
