Hello there
Do you know if coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara) is ok for bearded dragons :?: I have a lot of them in my garden :blob8: but can´t find it on any of the good-bad foodlists :banghead: I would really appreciate it if someone could help me :D

It doesn't look like that variety is toxic but I don't know much about it. You could try offering a little bit and see how it goes over.

Interesting. Maybe not worth trying then unless you know which one you're growing. I was reading articles that were saying that the toxic pyrrolizidine alkaloids were bred out of the tussilago farfara Wien varietal.

Yeah it seems that most sites list it as edible but maybe there's a slight chance of toxicity if too much is ingested.

It would be nice to find a good list of safe wild plants too, maybe we could coax an expert on making one? lol

I live in a National Forest and Dovah wants to taste everything, which would be safe from pesticides, but maybe not so edible.

A few safe ones I use from my own yard are clover leaf [ white or red clover plant ] they like the leaf part, dandelion and mulberry leaves. Also the flowers off my impations, hibiscus plant and forsythia [ in spring ]

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
