Ok so my first clutch is hatching and getting a wide range of markings and colours. But I have one reg that is very dark black with grey/silverish markings and to that appear to be leatherbacks. Not quite as dark but black and grey also. I will post pictures up later today. But the doesnt seem to be a lot of info on real dark beardies.

Let me know if you are interested in selling or trading him/her for any other colors. I had a couple of those in a recent clutch, and I want to start a project to see if I can breed for even darker babies with them.

I think they will brighten pretty soon. Some are born dark, almost black. But they all gain their pigments within a week or two. Just give it a bit.

Thanks a couple have stayed some what dark most have lightened up some though. And they will all be for sale or for trade for interesting trades. I'm up to 50 now that my first two clutches have hatched. Running almost 50% leatherbacks. I just moved I will post some pics when I find everything. My eggs survived bouncing around for 8 hours in the truck and started hatching 2 days after arrival, so far all have hatched without a glitch and though I wouldn't recommend it the eggs do not seem to be near as fragile as some would lead you to believe.
