Hi! I have introduced my dragon Colby before, but now, since he’s a few months older, I thought I’d show updated pictures with before and afters. He’s about 8-9 months now, and 16-17”

Does he seem healthy? I think he’s about to shed his tail again. I’m still not 100% sure he’s a boy.
I have been feeding him crickets ever since I got him, but very soon I am switching to Dubias. I was also looking at the beardie sampler pack at Rainbowmealworms.net, just for a change of pace.

How many Dubias are good to start a colony with?

Wow that is quite some growth! Colby is looking great

You should do dubias and crickets. The more variety the better

I started my colony with around 30 females or so, and 500 mixed. But I have 4 dragons to feed so I was going for a larger colony from the get go.
The more you start with, the sooner they will be self sustaining.
