Closing one eye

Is closing only one eye normal? It seems to vary which eye, but he had the bad coil UVB light for 3 days, now switched to the Reptisun UVB light. There isn't any pus or drainage, but I did see him scratching one eye. Hopefully he doesn't have eye damage!

Doubtful its eye damage, sometimes they do that. But just monitor it to see if any other symptoms develop.

My little guy closes one eye at a time for a few seconds mostly when basking. It's really cute, I'm not really sure why they do that, other than just giving their eyes a rest from the light, one eye at a time, along with the occasional blink. Did that since the first day I got him. Sorry your buddy was scratching his eye, I've only seen mine do that when shedding.
