Clear plastic totes

Does anyone know a good place to buy bulk clear totes? A group of people and I are starting a reptile rescue and figured a rack system would be the best option. Also what would be a good size for an adult beardie and other larger reptiles? Or would larger glass or custom terrariums be best for the larger species and keep the smaller herps in totes? Before anyone asks yes we know the time, money, stress, and space this is going to cost and we have a reptile vet and supporters already so that helps a lot. The closest rescue in my area is 3hrs away and I'm afraid many have already lost there lives for this reason. This way the suffering herps in my area will have more of a fighting chance. To many times I've seen people come in pet stores with there pets and there impacted, mite infested, cold, under fed etc and it's time for that to change. Also if anyone has extra supplies, anything at all, I will pay shipping to get it to us! Thank you!

Good for you starting up a rescue! That's great news and I wish you the best. The farm supply stores around me carry big clear plastic tote bins of all sizes. You can probably pick some up at a large hardware store like Lowe's too. Dragons do need their space so I'd probably custom build some double decker 4'x2'x2' crossfire style enclosures (stackable to save room). There should be some walkthroughs for this in the DIY section. There is a walkthrough for the basic single crossfire here https://beardies.dreamwidth.org/2145.html If that's out of reach, I'd take advantage of the Petco $1 per gallon sale and pick up some 40g breeder tanks. They're $40 at the moment instead of $120. They're not ideal but make a decent minimum size for an adult dragon. I think the sale ends Saturday (23rd).

If you need any advice or help with your rescues please feel free to post here. We'll be glad to help however we can.

Target sells some nice big sterelite tubs, and both target and Walmart have multi-packs available online. It's not so much about the type of enclosure as the size and if you can ensure safety with the type of lid. Typically I've seen breeders use open top tubs in racks with long UV tubes set over several tubs.

The rescue near my family had a combination of huge exhibit enclosures for the large reptiles like iguanas, monitors and some big snakes; probably the ones less likely to find new homes too. They also had an eclectic collection of aquariums, terrariums and PVC enclosures. Maybe keep an eye on Craigslist or advertise for cage donations.

I'll take as much advice as I can get! But as far as enclosures go I have posted on different classified for donations or cheap aquariums and supplies and its amazing the people willing to help! I work at a saw mill so I can get free wood for my enclosures and racks. I just built my pet beardie a 5x2x2 for under $50. In my area it would of cost me another $100 if I would of had to buy wood so its a huge savings for me.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
