cleaning bulbs

can you clean off your uvb and other bulbs with professional cleaner i got from BD.co? i am trying to get rid of coccidia and i have often touched the bulb and fixture when i was doing things with the cage before i knew about the coccidia and after when i was just trying to clean the cage with a regular cleaner. If someone can get back to me that would be great thanks. buy the way the reason i want to clean it is because obviously i have touched it and it is mounted in the tank

No, you shouldn't like was answered in your previous thread.

Firstly, even if coccidia got onto your uvb bulb, the extreme close proximity to the uvb radiation would have killed them. Secondly, the surface of your heat bulb is so hot it would have killed them nearly instantly.

You should not touch your bulbs at all, with anything, ever.

Do whatever you want then. It's pretty much common knowledge you are not supposed to ever touch bulbs with anything other than a clean soft rag.

Anyways, when is the last time you physically touched your heat bulb? Held your hand on it? Most likely you won't be able to do anything more than a quick touch before it becomes much too hot. It's hot. They might be parasites, but they need proper living conditions too.
