Hey all! Our juvenile chomper just got some crickets on Saturday from a new local supplier and ate them all on Saturday (about 15 medium crickets) but Sunday and today hasn’t wanted any. To check his appetite i offer some wax worms and we literally jumped over and ate 5 wax worms. Any thoughts or suggestions? This is him below. And Incase anyone is wondering basking temps are spot on and he has an 18” reptisun tube uvb inside the tank in a Zilla fixture

Has he been doing a lot of lounging/ sleepy-- hiccup has been off his eating as well- one day he'll eat his salad dubias about once a week now- as long as he's not losing weight he should be ok- what's his basking temp running?

He has been lounging but i wouldn’t say sleepy....ironically about two hours ago he got a warm bath and pooped big time! Something else is the new feeders have been dying causing an ammonia smell. I threw away a bunch of them today and i think I’m going to transition to dubia roaches. His basking temps are 100-105. Going to try again tomorrow with the crickets but won’t force him if he still has his appetite for his dandelion greens and worms.

Try the dubias- don't let him get hooked on the wax worms- they r more for treat- what other greens r u feeding him?

You might to try giving him mustard greens collard greens squash of any kind green beans mix it w/ his dandelion greens w/ some fruit like apple strawberries blueberries mango NO Citrus -- see how he likes it-- could be his metabolism is slowing down or has slowed down- Hiccup is not eating every day either - hes alert but really lazy - I dont have access to dandelions at this time -- but Hiccup loved last spring when I fed them to him when he was a baby--

How old was he when you got him? Do you think he is a year or over? How many months have you had him?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
