Choking?

My beardie has both pinworms and coccidia so we have to syringe feed meds each day. Thus far there has been no problems. We just gave her the meds and now she is puffing up her beard and making weird sounds where her mouth opens and she is pushing out air. It almost sounds like a sneeze. I have never seen this before. What do I do? In between these "gasps?" she seems fine. She is almost 12 inches now.

Hello,

That is alright. Did he aspirate any of the meds?
I would still watch your dragon for signs of a respiratory problem just in case the meds went down the wrong way.
Try to keep him around 80 in the tank to boost his immune system to help ward off any respiratory infection also.

Keep us posted on him.

Thank you =) Me too. So far no more choking. She is doing well again. I am so glad she is ok. I have her enclosure right next to my bed so I always have an eye on her =)
