Just wanted to clarify it didn't take long.. But I never pulled them apart was afraid to.. But he got on top of her bit the back of her neck she bobbed her head he dry humped a couple time then he some how maneuvered and stuck his penis inside of her and when he did that he stopped biting her neck and she started crawling forward which he started to slip off and when he slipped off he was still inside her and then that slipped out and it took a few minutes for all of his parts to un swell and go back where they belong.. She acted fine.. And during this process his beard turned as black as coal.. She is 1 year @ 382.71 grams and he is 7.5 months @ 170.9 grams.... So how long does it take them to mate?

And the thing about this; for about 2 months now my 1 year old has been scratching and trying to get out of her cage and since this happened she is sitting in her cage and not trying to get out.. I think she was horny :p lol.... What else could it be... But anyway this is my first time maybe being a grandma and need some advice and ideas...

From everything i've read (I was almost stupid enough to breed until I realized the major costs  blew $500 on supplies before I learned that lesson) they both seem too young to be breeding. Males should be at least a year old and females should be 18 months to 2 years old. Her body is still young and growing and getting her pregnant could actually do harm instead of good at this point. For their sake i'm hoping he didn't finish the deed.

Well this was an accident wasn't suppose to happen... She is actually to the date 396.893 g ... Anyway I read and was told by a breeder that males can be mature at 5-6 months and when beard turns black.... Which I am not saying he wasn't to young which he was but like I said this was totally an accident and I hope the deed was not done but in the case of it was I will be taking her to the vet and keeping close eye on her... Which I bought her from a pet store and I have had her for a year which the pet shop owner told me she was around 3-4 weeks old approximately.. She was 5 inches approximately so I am hoping she is a little older than I calculate... But anyway she is my baby of babies my first dragon so she will be close to me at all times..... I wasn't planning to breed her at all.. I have 5 juveniles around the same age when they get old enough I was planning to breed... But accidents happen and which ever way it goes I will have to deal with it and pray everything will be fine... They aren't my dragons or pets they are my children's....

Tracey yes the deed was done. She is very young to be bread but as you said it happens. So you need to keep a good eye on her and be ready for anything that could happen. You also need to up her calcium intake and get a lay box ready. Now the question is are you going to keep them or not? If you are then you need to get an incubator, vermiculite and a good thermometer with a hygrometer now and get it set up! If not then you can just freeze the eggs and toss them. Some males are mature by 6 months and the black beard does not mean they are mature.

I agree with Lance. I'm quite sure your female is now pregnant. Be prepared in advance for her to lay eggs. And make a decision now whether or not to keep them.

I will incubate them and let them hatch.. Putting the in the freezer and tossing them just feels like abortion.. Which I do not believe in... I been giving her roaches that been getting calcium in their diet, and i even dust them also.. I even dusting her greens everyday.... How long will it take to notice the eggs inside her? She was scratching her cage and trying to get out of her cage for some time and now she doesn't do that no more maybe she was in heat?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
