I was just wondering how much these will warm his tank. I was going to wait and get one when I build his 4by2by2 because I figured with all the space it had to heat it would be fine. Basically my house doesn't get below 68 but it is freezing. When it is straight winter, I can put the heat on and keep it at 70 but right now it is like 80 during the day and 50s at night so the house is getting really cold at night and I'm not going to turn on the heat at night and air conditioning during the day.
So I know that 68 is still in the range and I checked his temps and it is 68 in the tank as well. My concern is that he is right near a window and also everything in his tank feels freezing to me. I wanted to look into a way to just bring the tank up a few degrees and take the chill out of the air. Or am I just being paranoid? Also keep in mind that I live in Florida so yes....68 degrees is freezing to me.
Would a Che be able to bring the temp up just a few degrees or am I just being silly in wanting to?
