Chaos's 1st Boat Trip

I hate to leave any of my pets home alone. Both of the dogs had been out on the boat, so Chaos needed a turn too. I figured there would be nothing better than for him to have a day of fun and sun out on Lake Gaston, which is where we live. He seemed to love it. He was so laid back and didn't stress. He roamed the boat when we were stopped and relaxing and he slept in a blankie when we were on the move. My kids even got to tube a little and he just slept away on my shoulder. All and all he had a great time, I was a nervous mommie though. Here are the pics

Very cool! I would love to take our beardies out on the boat, but I would be a nervous wreck. I have anxiety issues, and I know I would not relax the entire time, and probably drive the beardie up the wall as well.

Yea I was a mess at first. I was scared the kids were gonna step on him. I was concerned about the bumpyness (ha, that's not a word!) too, but I just wrapped him up like it was bedtime and cuddled him, only differance was I covered his head too. Everytime I peeked in on him he looked mad, like I was intruding on his naptime! I did settle down, and now I'm glad I took him. He got a ton of natural light.

I love the beardie on the boat. What great pics. My sister in law has a dog that she takes on the sail boat in Chicago all the time. He has a life jacket incase he falls overboard. I bet you could make a beardie life jacket out of one of those foam float key chains.

He didn't mind the bumps, we just wrapped him up buritto style and we cuddled. I think he had a good time. I will take him again, probably not until next season though unless we get an abnormally warm day. We about froze on the boat yesterday and it was 80!

HA! Captain Chaos! A little captains hat would be too cute. Going to look for one, maybe they have one for ferrets. Think that would be the right size?

That's a really good idea too. I can see it now.... My little girl, she's 7 tries to dress all the animals. Choas is going to be in trouble.

Just tell her that beardies only wear capes and scarfs and hats, that way you don't have to worry about her trying to get anything on his arms and hurting him.
