changing color ???

okay im sure this isnt very serious but i would like to know everything there is to know so hers my question/situation. i fed whopper around 1 come back at 2 and hes extremely dark, so i took him out and almost as soon as i took him out he brightened up again so i kept him out for 30 mins and he was okay. so when i tried to put him back in his tank he would not let me put him back! usually he'll eye is rock for a sec then happily leap onto it, this time he scurried right up my arm. i managed to get him in then i noticed he was extremely dark again, so i took him out for a bath and he lightened up again :? so i put him back in, come back 5 mins later and hes really dark again. anywho i check back 5 mins later and hes back to his white, orange, yellow. im just wondering what may have caused him to go dark/light/dark/light so quickly?

some beardies will do this because they want to be out of their tank regardless of how healthy it is for them. It's just your beardie being picky and never wanting to be in his tank.
