Ceramic heat emitter help!

Hello, I have a 3 year old bearded dragon and I am planning to purchase a ceramic heat emitter for the night time but I'm not sure which one is best (I live in the UK). I have bought the holder for it but I am yet to purchase the bulb itself and the safety cover/cage for it

I am also unsure about how to set this up in his enclosure, any recommendations? :D
Photos of enclosures with this type of heat emitter would be great!

What size tank? I have a che that I use a 100 watt in a dome w/ ceramic socket that sits on top of my screen middle of tank that is 120 gallon- cold winter nites like below zero keeps my tanks around 70- warmer nites around 75

So what are your temps in the tank at nite ? And your using a digital probe for those temps correct? That tank is really low - my tanks are 24 inches high - if your tank is 65 at nite or better I wouldnt worry about getting a heat emitter - - if you really need one I would consider cutting a hole in the top like that dome you have for your basking light - where is your UVB?

The temperature drops to around 60 or sometimes below, but recently I have been keeping the heater on all night in that room to ensure that it is warm enough. However, I would like a more reliable solution for his enclosure. Yes I have digital probes and a min/max thermometer, and the UVB bulb is on the roof.

This is the ceramic lamp holder that I have:

Really! :( I am hoping to buy a new tank soon but probably not for another couple of months!

Ok so that is a nice socket -- you could mount it on the side of the enclosure where he cannot get to it so like somewhere where there is no decor he can climb to get to it -- those bulbs get really hot and or you can get a cage for the bulb to put around it as well -- you could mount it next to the basking light hole but you would need a cage over the bulb if its hanging in the tank -- so the CHE would be off during the day and only on at nite correct?

I am worried as I have read about burning/going on fire :(

Do you know which type of CHE is best? I've also seem some reviews about deep heat projectors. Do you know anything about these?

Yes it would be on at night only :D

Not sure what is best for a heat emitter I am using the Zoo Med ones and have had no issues w/ them and yes I have heard of the heat projectors -- I know a couple of the moderators on here I believe use them Brandon and maybe Cooperdragon -- not sure -- they can help you out there w/ them -- you can PM Brandon claudiusx

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
