caught climbing on CATUS!

ok i was doing a drawing project for college and i had draco on my shoulder (he likes to watch me draw) but then something spooked him and he jumped off my shoulder and on the to table where i had my real catus setting so i could draw it. he started to climb up it! are the spikes posinous and can they hurt him. he seemed fine and wasnt bleeding but i am still a tad worried

Do you know what type of catus it was? If you can't see if it went thru his scales anywhere, I bet he is totally fine...

im not sure what kind..it has pretty big prickles on it but he used them as a ladder to get up lol but i just checked him again and there is no puncture point of any kind. Now he is grumpy b/c i woke him up

I would probably give him a bath tomorrow morning and just watch his feet/underside/and such to see if there is any irritation...really nothing more you can do...with so many different types of cactus it would be hard to tell if it is dangerous to him or not...but one of the perks of scaly skin is not a whole lot penetrates it!

oh so ture..he's a tough little thing and he's been through a couple of sheads and he is getting more prickly lol
