Catching Dubias

We recently (as in yesterday) switched from crickets to dubias and they are a huge hit. I'm still using the tiny ones because our beardie is a little guy. What has everyone found to be the best way to catch them for feedings? Short of turning an egg carton over the feeding bowl and banging it on the edge enough to knock them off, I can't find a reasonable means of catching enough quickly. I'm also really afraid I'll squish them or shake them up too much. Thoughts?

I have egg cartons in the roach bin. I cut them in half just to make things easier. Then I have a plastic cake holder I use as my big dump and calcium shaker. I do just bang the cartons off the side. Shaking them is fine. Then I have a smaller feeding bowl I use works really well.

So that's effectively what I'm doing. I was just curious if there was a less jarring means of collecting them because I'm inevitably going to have to put some back and they will have been pretty violently shaken at that point. Just curious. If that's common practice, I'll keep doing it that way. Thanks!

I always put back the uneaten ones. I always feel the claw from toy story. Lol. When you return home they tell of their day. Lol
