Cat stroller?

How about having him sit on your chest or shoulder with a leash so he can bask while you walk?!?! It would look less peculiar, I guess. My Beardie usually just sits on my chest while I walk, and he seems to be very content. I have a cat tent which I use for my Beardie as well on sunny days, but I live in a secluded neighborhood where the people are very nice and respectful. I understand your concern about your shady neighbors because I used to live in a shady area too. The good thing was I had a small deck/balcony so I would let him bask in his glass tank there so people wouldn't bother me.

Because he's not very good at staying still, especially outside. He will not stay still at all. He's not a cuddly guy and doesn't particularly like to be held, he likes to explore. It's a nice thought but just doesn't work in practice with Itchy We don't have a balcony because we're losers (just kidding, kind of). I don't mind looking weird, I just want to help him feel better. I consider him to have somewhat special needs because of his MBD-ridden past, so he might be a TAD bit babied.


EDIT: $57.99 for a tent!! Wow! Lol. I didn't really plan on looking into it, because like I've said in previous posts, it's a way to encourage ME to walk more often (I'm diabetic, type 1, and really should be doing SOMETHING more active, I mean I work with kids so I am on my feet much of the day, but I feel like walking would at least be a strive in a healthier direction) too so I like the walking part. We live by a park, so I might like, stop and let him come out and explore. He's not as fast as he used to be, so him running away isn't a huge concern. We do have a leash, too.

That is hilariously awesome! :lol: He looks like he is having fun and besides there is nothing wrong with getting up and moving, no matter what the motivation. So I say, rock on, 'crazy' dragon lady! lol.

Haha, lexus, he did have fun! He loves being outside more than like, anything in the entire universe (except maybe... strawberries?) and I love to walk but I hate walking alone and without a purpose, so it gives us both an excuse to get more UV rays!!! I definitely looked like a crazy dragon lady today. I was at the park and there were a bunch of kids just staring. I wish they would have approached so I could say, "LOOK! I'm not crazy, he's just cute!"

And feline, thank you! Haha, he is pretty cute, eh? He is super content. He came home, and sat on his tree and just flumped down, all depressed that he had to come inside. And it was my pleasure, I was so excited to show everyone but we've had like, NO nice days and it's supposed to rain for the next 4 days so I'm glad I got out today!

Hahaha your stories are just so adorable!!! I bet people were expecting a mammal in the stroller, not a reptile!!! :mrgreen: Your Beardie looks healthy given his MBD past!!! My Beardie goes nuts when he is in his glass tank or by a glass door. He would scratch relentlessly until you let him out!!! Beardies love their freedom, I guess. :mrgreen: It is raining here too, then sun for two days, then more rain!!!

Haha, I know! I know bearded dragons aren't the LEAST common pet to have, but they're not super common either and it's definitely not common to see one riding around in a leopard print stroller. I love telling people who aren't familiar with the reptile about him!

He has gotten way better. When I brought him to live with me, he was really thin and his fat pads on his head were all sunken and he has just come an uber-long way. He does go crazy when we stop to rest, but when the stroller's moving, he's super apprehensive and only moves a little
