My baby girl CleoPatra (aka Cleo) and I are very close now because she almost witnessed death. My pore girl was bit by a cat on the top of the head and punctured threw. The hole was sadly infected since I had no money at all for a vet at the time and no way to get to a vet (closest was almost an hour away) and after a week she started to loose everything (eyesight and mind).I cleaned the wounded and finally got the infection out after a few weeks it happened but her future wasn't looking to bright. She could not walk proper or eat proper, if she tried to run, she would fall over after 2 steps. If she went to eat a cricket, she would loose her balance and fall over. It kept getting worse.
I will admit, I started to think about the worst and started thinking about putting her down but I knew I had to try something. I fed her by had and even watered her everyday for 2 months. I pumped her with vitamins and even baby proofed her cage (covered her stick in a soft rug and took out all plants and water dish). I would let her walk my room everyday the same time so she could walk on her own. 2 months of working with her.
It has been 5 months since then with a tiny scar to show and good as new. She now eats on her own with live crickets again and back to her old self
