My beardie Carbie still is always placing his hand down with his actually hand backwards, he doesn't walk like it but sometimes when he stops it just does it. I always fix it when I am around but I am still worried.
Also a few weeks ago I had him in the bath, he kind of stuck his head in the water and looked like he was dieing so I picked him up and he kinda of snapped back. I am sure he wasn't drinking because I made sure of that before I picked him up. I put him back in and he was fine, he even drank a little bit after and finished his bath.

I feed him superworms dusted everyday with squash as his staple fruit/veggy. He has the reptisun 2.0 and he basks about 4 inches away. I have never had him on loose substrate and he poops regulary.

Anyone know whats up.

The Reptisun 2.0 does not put out adequate UV for a bearded dragon. Suggest you change it to a Reptisun 10.0 LINEAR tube.
How old is this dragon and how long is it from nose to tail tip?

Crap I meant the 10.0 (tube), sorry about that. I got him in august and he is about 12 inches.

I would vary the diet up and drop the superworms until he is 16+ inches, they are fairly high in fat. What dust are you using?

Crickets are a good staple feeder for a growing juvenile, even better would be silkworms, you are wanting to get this protein from them. Adding on to this diet is ideal, butterworms for the calcium, hornworms also have a good protein content but lack calcium, so feeding these two feeders together in a diet is great. Feeding feeders with lower amounts of protein and high chitin content poses more then just blockage risks for a juvenile dragon, they also can hinder growth rates.

I hope this to be informative.

Are you also dusting with multivitamins?

The only "multivitamins" i am using is the calcium with vitamin d3.

Before I had the tube light ontop about 10 inches away (beginner with reptiles) not knowing how bad it was but I switched very fast. He has had a huge activity improvment since then but the hand thing was there ever since i had him. Still hasn't had someone tell me they had expierenced it.

I have seen it before here and there but, it was a rather long time ago.
Calcium w/D3 are not the multivitamins, just a calcium w/D3 supplement. RepCal makes a good multivitamin "Herptivite".
Should dust with the cal 5x a week, once a day. The multivitamins 1-2x a week, one time a day on day(s) that do not have the calcium supplement.

Ill look into getting the vitamins, but do you remember if the hand thing was linked to something wrong?

I cannot at the moment.

I remember the thread was pointed in the direction of UV.
How old is the UV you have?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
