Can't get my new tank hot enough, out of options HELP!

I just got a new tank for my 7 month old beardie the measurements are 47x20x35. I have tried several options for getting this tank to the proper temperature but nothing seems to be working. Placing things over the screen is an issue because I've read that my beardie shouldn't be further than 13 in from a reptisun 10.0 and that the screen filters out UV. Besides that, none of the hoods can have a high enough wattage to heat his basking area. A powersun also didn't heat the basking spot from over the screen and barely got it hot enough when I hung it into the tank, but this was an issue because I have a little climber who would definitely end up burning himself. I am out of options and I don't know what to do. Can someone with a similar tank size please tell me about their set up.

What are you using to take the temps, and how are you taking the temps?

Is you tank 35" tall? That would be difficult to heat properly for a dragon. You would have to have to raise the basing surface to within 12" or so of a basking bulb, or 18" of a MVB.

I have a 60" x 22" x 22". I use a 75w basking lamp (zoo med) and a 75w regular bright white bulb for heat, and a reptisun tube for UVB.
