Hey all!

So, for those of you who haven't seen my posts before, I got this little guy around a week and a half ago. I've been mentioning that the pet store estimated him at around 6 months, but he's pretty lean and only 8.5 inches from nose to tail, so I don't think that's accurate! Not to mention after seeing pics and having people tell me he seems way too small for that age, I'm pretty convinced.

So, what do you think? How old does he look? I'm estimating about 3 months:

This is the first day I got him... he's since chubbed up, as you can see :D

Let me know what you all think... I'd appreciate it!

3 months looks like a good estimate to me. I love the picture of him looking at your face with adoring eyes, BTW. :D Nim does that to me too, especially when I kiss him on the snout or as I like to call them 'lips'. :p

My Little guy is 11 Inches Long "Nose - Tail" and is only 2 & 1/2 Month's Old. So I would say you'rs is Between 2 - 4 Month's.

3-4ish months I would say.. BUT all dragons do grow different.. Specially if they were not kept at optimal temps with the good uvb and what not. So it really is hard to tell. If we are going solely on length then 3-4 months :)

I agree I got my newest one about 2 months old and been feeding it as much as he can eat.
Another thing is pet stores usually underfeed them too. More people want a baby beardie not a big beardie.

Thanks global! Yeah, he's a cutie :love10:

I'm guessing he's still a bit younger than 6 months though. He didn't look emaciated, so although he may have not been optimally cared for, I don't think he's so under cared for that he's half the size he would be at 6 months. I'm still estimating about 3-4, as you guys have been saying!

Your very welcome! 8)
Maybe this can give you an idea.. It's tough to say by ur pix, but this is my boy Raj.. His hatch date was 5/21/2012, so he'll be turning 7 months on the day the world comes to an end!

Right now he's in shed, when he just sheds his colors are identical to a tiger! I love his color! :)
Anywho.. Judging by his size in my hands in this pic, would u say he's about the same size as mine?
