So i I'm having a hard time finding a light bulb for heating i'm using a regular bulb atm But i want a spotlight type of bulb... The cage is a homemade one and is pretty big! I need a 100watt bulb so if you can find one on amazon that would be great send me a link to one Thanks !

I have a 100w but on the package it says only uses 72watts... So i'm very confuse about that and 100w-150w i have a digital thermometer and i will see how hot it is, I might need more watts, Also the first link all i see is bad reviews!

Like this it says 90w, But only uses 72... Will it still heat up like if it was a 90w Bulb?!

The halogens are just a bit more energy efficient. I've used several of both the bulbs I linked and they work pretty well. The halogen is a bit more durable and they both last a few months at least (usually) I get proper basking temps from the GE at 22'' above the floor of the tank.
