Can someone explain to me how to figure the sex of my Beardi

Hi, I'm Amy,
I just got my bearded dragon today. The pet store said he is about 2 months old and to soon to tell if it's male or female. Is this true? Even so, Can someone explain to me how I can inspect it to find out if I got a lil girl or lil boy :?: I would really appreciate it. I really wanna name it, but I kinda need to know if I have a girl or boy! Thank u so much

2 months old is kind of hard to tell. You can check though, if you wish. If you lift up his/her tail, under the vent you will see 1 or 2 bumps. 1 bump is female, 2 bumps is male. It is a little early to tell and some younger males may appear to have only 1 bump. Good luck!

Thank u very much! I think i can see 2 bumps, i think. I decided to name him/her Arei. It's my birthday and he was my present and I am an aries, so I think it fits. Thanks a bunch!
