can I put my beardie on the treadmill?

I am kinda afraid to do this because our treadmill is in the basement and has lots of spiders and hiding places. Will she freak out and run off the side and run under something? or will she run on it? is it safe? I have seen a few videos on youtube of this but I'm not totally convinced.

Hi, just curious why you want the beardie to run on a treadmill. If you want him to get excercise it may be safer to beardie-safe a smaller room in the house and close the door so he can explore at will. If you must use a treadmill then consider a lizard leash. Personally, I think a treadmill would scare him. Especially at first and he would be likely to run off and hide. Be very careful. Any moving parts may even harm the lizard. Just my thoughts. I would give him an exploration room myself.

Agreed. Treadmills are for humans. And then sometimes even humans are injured.
